We started using Precision Sharpeners scissor machines over 10 years, Why? Because we used other machines that just don’t stand up to our workload. We do 13,000+ shears through the mail a year and we need dependable machines at our three sharpening stations in the shop and the mobile unit. We are “freehand” sharpers, and the double units we use have the power needed for freehand work because we “sculpt” shears sharp which cuts down sharpening time by not using a confining clamp. These machines don't break down or need any replacement parts, they seem built to last. They are all variable speed which helps us with avoiding burnt tips on these cheaper/softer shears. We also have the “rideline” machine which does an excellent job at smoothing out nicks and blemishes to teeth on curved chunkers and thinners. Some of these nicks are large from dropping the shear, and I feel this machine does a better job than regular stones.
We have been sharpening and repairing grooming equipment only since 1992, no beauty or barber shops. Our scissor machines are well used. Thanks for manufacturing these great machine.
